Most software will let you analyze so closely that you can see almost exactly what one specific visitor did, which pages they went to, how they got there, how long they stayed on each page, and on which page they left.

Knowing specific information about visitor trends can be extremely helpful. For example, imagine knowing that 98% of visitors left your website on the page that describes how much money you charge for your service. This is a direct indicator that your prices are too high.
